If you need bulk text documents, laser printers work better because they produce sharp texts. Its high monthly duty cycle helps handle volume print work.
Higher monthly duty cycle means they are better prepared to handle high-volume jobs, which also contribute to saving budget on prints in the long run.

CONS:
Laser printers can perfectly work out texts and simple graphics, but complex images and photos are a challenge. Even so, there still you can see several models of compact laser printers on the current market, which are bigger and heavier than inkjet printers. Laser printers have no way to handle the same variety of paper while inkjets can. What’s more, initial cost of a laser printer is usually higher than an inkjet printer.

The most concerned point is, inkjet printers are cheaper.

CONS:
Although it’s such a small cartridge containing ink, it’s expensive for long-run use because ink cartridges generate only a few hundred pages while compatible toner cartridges can print over thousand pages. Slow speed and low-capacity paper trays of 50 to 100 sheets of inkjet printers are not suitable for business use.
